Columbus State Community College’s Mitchell Hall is Columbus, Ohio’s very own kitchen, welcoming all to share the joy of the culinary arts in the heart of the city.

TENFOLD partnered with Columbus State to design environmental branding featuring honest materials and clever use of culinary tools to celebrate the unique collaborations among the Columbus State family, as well as the public and private partnerships formed throughout the city.

Branding throughout the space features tone-one-tone application with thoughtful pops of wood grain, designed to enhance the beautiful volume of architecture. In addition to a donor wall featuring custom made cutting boards and a dedication quote from Cameron Mitchell, dimensional lines fill a large 2-story wall to represent multiple pathways that Columbus State creates for students, and the design ultimately forms a map of the surrounding downtown Columbus community.
